The global nature of our business is reflected in the extent and variety of Serimax training – which takes place across five continents.

 

From Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineering in France to skills training in Russia and Angola, we run an exceptionally broad range of courses designed to address every aspect of personal and corporate development.

 

Much of Serimax’s work takes place in extreme environments and severe conditions. Oil and gas pipelines impact on national economies and deliver energy to entire communities. We do not underestimate the significance of the projects that we contribute to, and so training our people for the greatest demands on their skill, professionalism and teamwork is central to everything we do.

 

We aim not just to be the welding company of choice for the most demanding clients, but also the employer of choice for the most ambitious of welding engineers, project managers and professionals in every functional division of Serimax.

 

We work as a team, valuing the role of every player, whether they are at a desk in Evanton, or on a barge in the Gulf of Mexico.

Passing the test

At our training centres in Scotland and France, we provide a range of first-class vocational courses for both Serimax employees and external clients.

 

The establishment of a new Education and Training Centre in Angola is introducing National Standards in Vocational Education and helping to develop the skills of local people. A Serimax school has been established near Moscow, and we are developing plans for similar facilities in Malaysia and Egypt.

 

The leading international qualification authority, SQA International, has approved Serimax to deliver qualifications in all of the countries in which we operate. Emta Awards Ltd, another leading awarding body in Engineering, has also approved our delivery of vocational standards abroad.
